Bakuchiol is a plant-based oil that is extracted from Babchi seeds. It contains naturally occurring retinol - the purest form of fat-soluble Vitamin A. Bakuchiol is effective against skin aging and acne, but without the disadvantages of synthetic retinol, such as skin irritation or photochemical instability. As a plant-based retinol alternative, bakuchiol is more gentle on the skin than synthetic retinol and will not cause redness, irritation, itching, or flaking that are often associated with retinol use. Bakuchiol has a stimulating effect on collagen production, which reduces wrinkles and hyperpigmentation and can increase skin elasticity and strength. It helps to soothe acne by preventing peroxidation of skin lipids and keeping the protective mantle active. It controls the overproduction of bacteria on the skin, inhibits pro-inflammatory genes and enzymes, and reduces keratinization of the skin. 
Bakuchiol is safe to use. It’s a plant-based ingredient, so you won’t have to worry about harsh chemicals irritating your skin. Bakuchiol is suitable for all skin types: dry, sensitive, oily or combination. Only in exceptional cases such as rosacea or eczema should bakuchiol be used with caution. A lower dosage is especially important in this case, otherwise it may cause skin spots.
 
Kahai oil contains twice as much Vitamin E as argan oil, three times as much retinol as rosehip seed oil and is made of 30% linoleic acid and up to 10% linolenic acid. Linoleic acid in particular helps the skin to protect itself against inflammation and to strengthen the natural skin barrier. Vitamin E also effectively protects the skin from free radicals and thus prevents premature skin ageing.
 
Buriti oil is extremely rich in Vitamin E (tocopherols) and is one of the most abundant natural sources of pro-vitamin A available (carotenoids). The rich unsaturated fatty acids in buriti oil help to rebuild, moisturise and re-hydrate skin cells. The oil restores moisture lacking in sun-exposed skin, and because of its colour, it possesses a naturally occurring SPF factor.
 
Camellia oil has extremely powerful anti-oxidative activity and a high moisturizing value, which makes it a perfect emollient for dry skin. This oil helps to prevent and smooth wrinkles and stretch marks.
 
Sacha Inchi oil is useful for the care of inflammatory, dry and mature skin. It increases skin elasticity, has a strong cell regenerating and cell activating effect. The oil of the Inca nut promises an improvement of the skin appearance in case of skin irritations, inflammations, allergies and skin diseases like psoriasis and neurodermatitis. It limits the dehydration of the skin, strengthens the natural balance or restores it.
 
Vitamin C is another essential ingredient in skincare. It lightens skin tone, fades pigmentation, improves collagen synthesis and cell renewal, reduces wrinkles, intercepts free radicals, protects oily skin from oxidation, treats and prevents acne and also protects cells from UV light. A number of the natural oils in our formula contain high amounts of Vitamin C.
 
Astaxanthin (naturally active substance - Haematococcus pluvialis Extrac) is a powerful, fat-soluble antioxidant that is many times more effective than Vitamin E, the best-known natural fat-soluble antioxidant. Astaxanthin increases skin moisture, moisture retention and elasticity. The skin becomes smoother, fine lines and wrinkles are reduced. Astaxanthin also has natural UV blocking properties that help protect the skin from sun-related damage such as dark spots. Astaxanthin has been shown to increase blood flow, which improves blood circulation to the skin. Increased blood flow has several benefits, such as increased cell turnover, increased elasticity and increased water retention.
